Sunday, i went out wit the lil sis to 34th st. My dad seen us gettin ready to leave&he's like where wunnuh gine?? "We goin to 34th st so i cud look for that plaid button down shirt in forever 21&selena wants to buy sumthin for her friends. You didnt tell me this, i just seen wunnuh gettin ready out the blue. I mentioned it yesterday when we was in ihop looking at clothes on selena's g1. I dont remember you sayin anything. Well i did. So you not gine ask me to go wit wunnuh? You sed you cud get ready real fast so we'll wait. Nah, ga head. I can see yall just wanna go together." Then my mom joins in, "So wah you ask dem that fa?" lmaoo, the convo went sumthin like that. Anyways, we went to get the 46 to the a train. I forgot that shit wasnt running from utica to jay st&we wud have to take the shuttle bus. Fuck that, i took it back the other way, got the j train then transferred to the f train. If i had remembered earlier i woulda just walked to the j train cuz its not far from my house. *sighs* We got up there, went in forever 21&DIDNT find the plaid shirt i wanted, or anything else i wanted for that matter. In a way i kinda hate that forever 21 cuz its always crowded&shit is always all over the floor [not talkin bout shit literally lol.]. We left there, went into american eagle&i bought the AE favorite shirt [the orange striped one]. Close enough to wat i wanted to get, might go back&get the other colors. The whole time selena was complaining that she was thristy. Im like damn girl, leave me alone but i just took her to this hot dog cart when we left the store&she got a snapple. Right after we went in h&m, which was right across the street from american eagle, to see if we cud find anything. We walked to the up escalator, thats now to the back of the store, to go up to the 2nd floor..theres a reason y im sayin these lil details..by the time we got up to the 2nd floor, all her juice was gone! i asked for a sip while we was on the escalator&it was still mostly full! She drank it in like 5 mins, she wasnt lying bout being thirsty! haha. Anyways, i was mostly looking for a hoody&selena was gonna get this shirt but she put it back&i didnt see a hoody i liked so i didnt get nothin in there. Decided to check out macys&took sum pics on the way over there. Saw this cute hurley jacket/hoody [w/o the hood] thingy that i wasnt gonna get cuz i wanted to find sumthin cheaper but i kept goin back to it. I ended up buying it. Even tho my lil sis kept sayin she didnt like it. Shes soo friggin weird cuz when i got home&tried it on again, she sed she wants to wear it sumtimes. NO! You didnt like it b4! Its mine! While we was in macys, she had to pee lol. &tell me why we had hell lookin for the bathroom. Its not like i've never been in there b4 but its like in there got even bigger or sum shit. lmfao. We ended up finding one of the womens bathrooms thats in there&the line was goin out the door! Theres madd women bathrooms in macys but they still got lines in each one? WTF? Well we left there, went in the other h&m & she bought sum lil things for her friends. Then we went home, despite her askin me to go to dunkin donuts the whole time. Shes a pest, my god!

OOPS! but it was good hearing him, i havent talked to him since i left barbados back in aug. I was hella happy on wednesday cuz i heard sumthin i was waiting to hear for the longest! Man, u dont even kno how happy i was! But im not gonna disclose specific info tho. Then got mad not too long after that cuz my lil keeps touching my shit. She doesnt listen! Thanksgiving was on thursday. My parents, lil sis&i went to my Uncle's house for the whole day. It felt really good spending time wit the fam. Yesterday [since its after 2am] was black friday!! I wanted to leave my house at like 9, 9:30am, ended up leaving around 10:30am. Went to newport centre in jersey city wit the fam. The lines were OD long. I got most of the stuff i wanted besides sum shoes :/. Oh well, i'll get sum another day, maybe later today. We got a whole bunch of other stuff too, had madd bags lol. Then later that night my dad pissed me off. &thats all i'll say bout that, dont wanna put all that business out there. &now im happy again cuz babes hit me up just now. I dont think i'd answer calls or texts from anybody else at this time...he's lucky lol. I wonder how im gonna feel later. smh. This shit is getting to me...

Wow, i haven't written a blog in like 2 weeks. I've been drowning in papers so i haven't been sleeping much which probably explains why i woke up after 12pm today, well yesterday. <- That was a big run-on sentence but oh well, this isn't english class. Im tired of skool&im growing more tired of it everyday. I usually say i can't wait til the semester is over so i cud get a break but i cant wait til im DONE wit skool altogether! That probably wont be for awhile tho cuz i plan on gettin my masters after i get my bachelors degree. Like im not even sure if im gonna go right into gettin it, i make take a lil break, thats how much skool is getting on my nerves right now. Even my dad noticed that this shit is ridiculous sumtimes, everything is rushed basically. He was like thats why sum of these college students look so old, hes surprised that most of them dont have gray hair already. lol. Anyways, im soo glad i only have 2 days of classes next week. then its wednesday then THANKSGIVING!!! HOLLLAAAAA! haha. I'm soo gonna pig out! &i luv how right after my thanksgiving break, theres only 3 days left of classes! So yea, theres this dude that i've been feeling for the longest [i have a feeling i wrote this b4, anywho..]but i've been feeling him even more recently. He knows, i've told him, he feels the same way bout me so im good money. lol. He might be reading this now but probably not, its watever. I was supposed to see him friday but i didnt&it bothered me soo much. Anyways, friday i finally went to go see saw v wit the babes [not my bf...yet ;)]. Sometimes i think i talk bout him too much but i guess its just cuz i really really like him. ;) He prob doesnt even kno that i notice that he remembers the smallest details bout me. Like he remembered wat i was wearing the last time we chilled, i didnt even remember wat i was wearing that day! haha. Or that he actually listens to me like when i kept sayin i wanted sum candy&he ended up buying a box of sour skittles. He doesnt really eat skittles so i kno he didnt buy em for himself but its cool lol. But yea, saw v wasnt too bad but of course the other ones were better. It wasnt as nasty as the other ones either but like more towards the end, omgggg!! ewwwww! lol. I dont see how theyre gonna make saw vi since everybody is dead&gone. Sry if i spoiled that part for u hehe. Theres was this guy in the movie theater&he was deadass asleep from like the beginning of the movie til the end. I didnt even kno until babes mentioned it then right after i heard him snore madd loud. lmaoo that was soo funny. Yesterday i took my lil sis to see madagascar: escape 2 africa. I thought it was really funny, especially the penguins&king julien. &it was soo cute hearing all the lil kids laughing at the movie, theyre lil voices&everything.
OMG, i haven't watched this show taxicab confessions in a min. Right now im watchin taxicab confessions: new york, new york part 3&its actually pretty interesting. The ppl getting in the cab b telling sum crazy ass stories sumtimes, telling all they business&shit. I wud never tell a cab driver my business. smh. &they get all sorts of ppl, "working" women, drug users, gays, loud ppl, just straight up crazy ppl, etc.. When its done i guess i'll just go to sleep.

..I luv bein able to say that!! wooo! so yea, i only slept for like 4 hrs. yippee! [i was bein sarcastic in case u aint catch that.] I was def not planning on gettin up @ 8 this morning but i couldnt go back to sleep. I wasnt feeling tired at allll last night&i kno i wasnt alone on that one either. &im surprised i woke up still not feeling tired. Eh, Oh well! Niggas rode past my block after 1 in the morning screaming, "OBAMAAAA!!" fucking dumbasses. haha. I heard they was wil'in in times square&harlem, kinda wish i was there. My babes didnt sleep, drinking&shit lol so i was talkin to him on the phone. Claimed he wasnt tired but dude sounded hella sleepy&tipsy at the same time. lmaoo.
Anyways, i woke up at like 9 yesterday morning to go out&vote but my mom wanted me&my dad to wait for her til she got back from the dentist wit my lil sis. So me&my dad went to dunkin donuts then headed over to the skool to vote. That was like after 10am, around 11 i think. I thought there was gonna b a line goin around the block or sumthin but there was only a line inside the building, didnt have to wait that long at all. I swear those ppl didnt follow much of the rules @ that skool, the volunteers i mean lol, but im not gonna put them on blast. I've never been so into an election as much as i was into this one. I guess cuz it was my first time voting&it was a historical election. I was watching this 2008 Election Mix Channel on directv, they were showing 8 news channels at once, &i was watchin live results from abc news on the computer&looking at the election map. That election map thingy on yahoo wasnt updating fast enough at all [&they claimed it was updated every 5 mins, pshh yea right]&it was pissing me off. I was staring at the electoral count when it was like: Obama 172/McCain 90, sumthin like that, but yea, that shit wud not move. It was the same numbers for like a half hr, i was like wtf? come onnnn, i was anxious as hell. Finally the numbers went up&it was soon a couple mins to 11pm, thats when the polls closed in california [8pm pst.]. Obama only needed 50 more electoral votes&he had this shit in the bag. I was like omgggg!!, if Obama gets california he's gonna have more electoral votes than he actually needs. I seen that electoral count jump to 198 like a min or 2 after 11&I literally cried along wit my dad. I couldnt believe it, Obama actually won! A black man actually won the presidential election! I was soo happy, those were tears of joy. Never in my life has politics affected me this way. My vote helped make this happen&i wish all those ppl that fought for the rights of black ppl were alive to see this today. They paved the way for this to happen tho. I think Obama ended up getting 349 electoral votes compared to McCain's 147 in the end. HA HAAA!

11.04.08 - A historical day that i will forever remember...
Its the first of November. Yesterday was halloween. I didn't dress but i was around 14th st&6th ave so i saw a lot of ppl in costumes cuz thats around where they throw the halloween parade. Saw some princesses, bunnies, superheros, plumbers, lil red riding hoods, school girls, etc, etc, but i swear the cutest costume i saw was the lil kid in a stroller dressed up as a gingerbread cookie. lol it was soo cuteee! Seeing all those costumes kinda made me wish i had dressed up but the lines to the costume stores were odddd long, they were literally goin all the way down the block. I think next yr im definitely gonna wear a costume but i'll get it like a month or 2 in advance.
So its 3 days til Election Day. Im so exciteddd! This is the first election I will be voting in&my first election is a historical election. Now come on, who wouldnt be excited about that! I just hope i dont go&vote for the wrong person cuz i have no idea how to use those machines. haha. OBAMA 08, ALLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! :) All my ppls that are 18 yrs old &older better be voting or else.
I think the last time i posted a blog was like a week ago. Well, since then i've been taking my aunt places to buy sum things, she's leaving tomorrow morning :(, &going to skool. So later today my aunt is coming in from barbados. I cant wait to see her! I haven't seen her since I left barbados back in august. I have to go straight from class to the airport, she comes in like a lil over an hr after my class finishes. I hope i get there b4 her plane lands or at least b4 she gets outta customs or watever. I kno for sure im getting there b4 my parents, they're coming from manhattan, im already gonna be in queens.

After like 2 or 3 weeks of feeling like crap, i finally feel better. I mean, my nose is still runny&i keep coughing sumtimes [that cough that cold comes up wit. yuck.] but i feel ok. I swear he didnt turn away at all, I kept seeing him from the corner of my eye. &i was in there for like 5 mins! When I was leaving, dude turned around. WTFFFFFF?? I fucking hate these pedos. Im 20 now but I still look 15, 16 yrs old. Wtf are you doing looking at a young girl, you're old enough to be my daddy! Ewwwwww! &oh yea, im never buying a small iced coffee again. That shit went to damn fast. I usually I buy a medium but today I decided to get a small. Why did I do that? haha.

I watched this movie when it came out but of course I dont remember most of the details so I have to watch it again. Im gonna try to finish during my break between classes tomorrow. ..I feel like shit right now. Im typing this wit one hand&holding a tissue to my nose with the other. You ever had sumthin hurt so much that ur teeth kinda start hurting too? Umm, yea. Lets see, early last week, my neck was killing me. About 2 days later, it stopped&my arm started feeling stiff. That stopped like a day later&guess wat, i ended up in the hospital cuz of an allergic reaction. I guess all that was leading up to it. A couple days after that, my throat was killing me for like 2 or 3 days straight. Yesterday, it stopped&it just felt like i was really thirsty. Then I started sniffiling&coughing&voila! I wake up today wit a fucking stuffy nose&my ear feeling stopped up. I actually thought I was getting another allergic reaction but as the day went on I knew it wasnt happening again but I just started feeling worse. I really was not about to go to my 2 classes today but I decided to go anyways. Im surprised I actually stayed, I was about to go back home. So after classes, I came home&took a nap. I still dont feel any better. Drank some soup. I have to finish up this stupid hw that I gotta hand in tomorrow&re-read my notes for part II of my management test tomorrow. blahhhh! Well I'm gonna go drink sum green tea now&try to finish up this work so I could go to sleep. Man, what a way to bring in my 20th bday tomorrow..Yippee! =/
EAGLE EYE WAS AMAZINGGG! A lot of ppl are clamining that this movie bit off a lot of other movies like I, Robot, Live Free or Die Hard, Enemy of the State, blah blah blah. Ppl need to stop complaining. This movie was fucking awesome, leave it alone&stop trying to find the so-called "bad" things about every lil part. jeez. Anyways, I wish i cud write about the movie but i might spoil it for other ppl =/. Definitely a must see regardless. When I got to the movie theater, it was madd dead. Then when I got upstairs there was no line to get into the movie or anything, im like alright then. Went to buy sum popcorn&sumthing to drink, which i didnt really wanna buy cuz that shit be od expensive but i was kinda hungry. hugeee run-on sentence <~~ lol. Then I went into the actual auditorium i think its called, you kno, the part where they actually show the movie&it only had like 4 ppl in it. haha. It only was like a half hr b4 the movie was supposed to start. Im thinking either this movie sucks ass or everybodys gonna start coming in at the last min. I was right, about the last min one. Most of the ppl started coming in like 10 mins b4 the movie started&seats started running out. Shia is sooo hot! He cud get it any day. lmaoo. This is so funny cuz just now I was im-ing my buddy&we was talking bout this movie a lil bit. It sounds like, "Shay-Nuh." Thats why I put that as my myspace name. Its not how you spell my name but its the only way these idiots will get it right. I have one of the easiest names ever&still a whole bunch of ppl get it wrong. SMFH. At first I didnt even kno he was callin me until he sed my last name. If he wasn't taking attendance, I wouldve ignored him. That shit gets on my nerves. Wtf would ppl do if if my name was Shananalleioihdsgoigjoaseif?? hehe.
Anyways, last night my older bro called me&guess wat!? He had a baby girl! I have a new baby niece! I was soo happy when he told me but dude prob ran up my cellphone bill. lol. I have to call him back&find out how her name&how much she weighs. haha. I only dont kno this info cuz he called me as soon as she was born. Man, i can't wait to see her!

I went to my one class today. I wasn't even paying attention cuz all he does is read over his outline&i could read that shit on my own. So I basically just go to class for attendance. He does that on purpose ya kno. Going to lunch madd late. lol. Then we went to J&R to get a memory card for my new wii! *Side Note: I got my wii the other day! I had to pre-order it&when i went to check to see if any more were available, just outta curiousity, it was sold out. Its amazing how well this console is selling. You would think that it only came out yesterday or sumthin, the way it keeps getting sold out. Oh yea, &i got mario kart today. [well yesterday since its after 12.] Its super amazing&addictive!!, the game&the wii itself. Well back on track here, I came home&played tennis then mario kart. I was gonna go to the movies but sumthing came up. Its cool tho.
For the longest I used to wonder why the addresses in queens were so weird. i.e. 48-10 Utopia Parkway. So I decided to look it up. My question for the day: What the eff is up wit queens addresses?? lol. I thought this explanation was pretty good cuz it helped me understand it. Plus, it actually makes sense why the numbers are numbered the way they are. [wow, that sounded confusing. lol.] Check it out: If you say "36-20 30th Avenue," you can actually find the exact spot, or pretty close to it. The 30th Avenue means that, well, it's on 30th Avenue. Nothing mysterious about that part. Now, the 36-20. The 36 tells you that the building is near where the location road, 30th Avenue, crosses the cross street, 36th Street! So, if you go to 30th Avenue and 36th Street, you should find the address pretty easily! The 20 tells you that it's farther from the intersection with 36th Street than 36-18, but closer to 36th Street from 36-22. Even numbered doors are on one side of the street, and odd numbers are on the other. So, if you go to 30th Avenue, and you start at 36th Street and walk towards 37th, you'd see the following addresses on one side: 36-02; 36-04; 36-06; 36-08, and so forth. On the other side, you get: 36-01; 36-03; 36-05, and so forth. Cross 37th Street, and then you start with the 37-## addresses! Now, not all addresses are actually used, I've seen places where some are skipped. Still, if you get an address, you should be able to find it fairly quickly.
Even tho all this makes sense, it leads me to another question: What happens when the cross streets are names? What, queens doesn't have any streets with actual names?? Dont think so. Jamaica Ave, Woodhaven Blvd, Sutphin Blvd, Flushing Ave, etc. I think imma check that out later&see if I find an answer.
