Highlights&Lowlights of 08. [12.31.08]

Whoa, its new yrs eve already. I swear this yr went by really fast. Ok, so some good things that happened in 08 [not necessarily in order.]:
--i got a new niece! :D
--i passed all my classes.
--i got a new camera!
--i camera-whored like i do every yr. haha.
--ringling bros!
--i got see most of mi familia in barbados this summer.
--went to crop-over to this summer.
--made new friends.
--got back in touch wit sum old friends.
--i met my uncle, his wife&my 3 cousins.
--seen the dark knight. <--thee best movie of 08! hands down!
--i got a wii!
--i've grown to luv honey nut cheerios.
--obama won the presidency!
--knowing that bush will be out the white house come 1.20.09. <-- 20 more days yo!
--i got back in touch wit my aunt&my cousin. havent seen them in yrsss!
--a new widescreen monitor for my computer!
--i donated sum coats to charity.
--the iraqi reporter throwing his shoes at george bush! hahaha that was the funniest moment of 08. bush got some fast reflexes. lol.
--for xmas, i got a new laptop!!! wooo! i got other things too but i really needed a new laptop.
--&last but not least, i found the semi-perfect guy! hey no ones perfect! lmaoo. but nah, hes the sweetest tho<3.

bad things of 08 [again, not necessarily in order.]:
--skool.

--skool. hahahaha.
--not seeing him. :(
--bein sick for like 2 or 3 weeks. boooo!
--still didnt get to see the radio city christmas spectacular. =/
--didnt get a nikon d60.

now for the annoying things of 08:
--soulja boy. <-- ughhh! i cant believe he has a 2nd album, a clothing line&shoes out! &dude is making a video game&a cartoon too! wtf?? wat kinda video game is that gonna be?? dude got rich real fast off of shit. smh.
--if you gonna rep where u live on myspace or sumthin, spell it correctly. its brooklyn motherfucker, not broolkyn.
--10, 11 or 12 yr olds [basically lil kids] sayin theyre in luv wit their bfs. thats been annoying to me for the longest tho. but wat makes it worse is when theyve only been goin out for like a day&they say theyre in luv. kids these days man. i've probably sed it b4 but if my lil sis [shes 12] ever told me shes in luv wit sum boy, i'd slap the shit outta her. deadass.
--incorrect grammar. this hasnt only bothered me this yr but damn. at least act like ur parents taught you right. like you actually learned english in skool. im not sayin you cant speak slang, cuz i do. you just gotta kno when to switch that shit up&stop using the wrong words. this isnt slang but i've seen it b4, ppl usin "are" instead of "or," "wont" instead of "want," "pairs" instead of "pierced.." <--thats just stupid, those words arent even related. *rolls eyes*
--im tired of seeing ppl write like this: "oH mY g0D y0 da+ $h1t wA$ m@d crAzY $0n. mY b@e l0Ve$ mE m0r3 tHaN aNYth1Ng. lUlz." [stole that line from sumone elses blog lol.] or like this: "i lOok so fiierce wiit my raptOrs" or adding extra letters onto lol like: "lOlsz." i thought ppl were supposed to shorten words on the computer, not make em longer. i've seen sum other stuff too but i dont feel like wasting like 10 mins writing it. &i've seen paragraphs written like that, must've took a half hr. smh. oh yea, &wat is the point of using "dhat" or "daht" in place of "that"? makes no damn sense to me.
--these dating shows are getting on my last nerve. flavor of luv, rock of luv, i luv new york, real chance of luv, blah blah blah. they never stay wit the person anyways. stop wit these shows already 'fore i tear my hair out yo.
--these male enhancement commercials. OMGGG! theyre just poppin out the wood work. how can a dude be proud of needing to take male enhancement pills!? nigga needs to stop lying. you kno ur ashamed, go hide under a rock. &his significant other doesnt mind!? she lyin too. not sayin you shouldnt like a guy just cuz hes havin "problems" cuz that would be madd shallow but i dont think ur 1st reaction is gonna be pleasant. ya kno??
--bet playing g-unit's rider pt 2 but u cant hear majority of the chorus. just dont play it ppl. i cant rap bleeps, i wanna hear every single word. &you may think im over exaggerating bout this song but im not. go youtube it. you literally hear like 5 words out the whole chorus. &to add on to that, theres other bleeps throughout the whole song. it probably adds up to like a min or more of bleeps lol.
--this new "trend" of pregnant girls. i kno sum girls who are pregnant&sum who have babies already. so im not trying to bash them or anything. it just seems like every girl picked this yr outta all yrs to start gettin preggo. thats one trend i planned on not keepin up wit earlyyy.

Im sure im missing plenty of stuff but watever. I think i hit the most important ones i wanted to mention. Madd ppl are saying new yr, new me but fuck that. Im not gonna change just cuz its a new yr. Change happens on its own. Im just gonna continue to grow which includes change anyways. Am i supposed to go thru sum type of transformation as soon as it hits midnight?? Umm, i dont think so. Im probably not gonna do a blog post tomorrow so i have one more confession to make b4 this yr is over....I really wanna punch you in the face right now but i need you to give me more of a reason to. I already think i have a good enough reason but other ppl might not think so. lmaooo.
