The Dark Knight

So i went to chill wit the homie yesterday [&my lil sis] down by south street seaport. We acted crazy as usual&took madd pics. I finally got to see those waterfalls that guy put up. [sry i forgot his name lol.] They're really cool&you could see all 4 of em from the seaport. We went to get lunch wit my parents then went back to the seaport, i dunno why tho cuz we had to leave like a half hr later. Then we parted ways, me&my lil sis went to meet our parents at their job so we could go to the movies&watch...drumroll please *drumroll*...THE DARK KNIGHT!!!
Batman is like my fav superhero!=) I was waiting agesss for this movie to come out&i was definitely NOT dissapointed. I'm so glad my dad bought tickets online cuz almost all the times were sold outttt. I woulda been pissed if I didnt get to see this movie before I went vacation. OMGGGGG!!!, that movie was friggin amazinggg! The Joker was hilarious. That part was like made for Heath Ledger. He was awesomee! He stays smacking&licking his lips when he talks. haha. People started cheering as soon as the movie started, during certain parts in the movie, at the end&when Heath Ledger's name popped up. Everybody was like wooooooooooooo! I wont say anything else about the movie cuz I dont wanna spoil it for anyone but this is the best summer movie of 08. [i dont think anymore good movies are coming out this summer =/.] It already broke a record&made 66.4 million, IN ONE DAY! Im betting that this movie is gonna make over 100 million for the weekend. Ah hell, it could probably even break the 200 million mark. Oh yea, there was even anti-piracy ppl checking to see if anyone was trying to videotape the movie. I never seen that in any other movie before. lol. I dunno if they were at other movie theatres but if they were, you're not gonna see any bootlegs of this movie no time soon..

FIVE MORE DAYS TIL I LEAVE TO BARBADOS. WOOOOOOO!
i'm sooo excited!! i get to see the fam [my nieces, my bro&sis, my grandparents, my aunt&uncle, my cousinss, etc..] =D

So yesterday i did some laundry so we [me, parents&lil sis] could have some more clean clothes to pack in our suitcases. It was mostly me&my sisters' clothes tho. hehe. The laundromat wasnt crowded cuz im assuming most ppl were at work, I didnt have to fight anyone for a washing machine or dryer. I should start goin to the laundromat on tues from now on to escape the crowd&theres a less chance of me having to snuff a dude or dudette. lol i kid i kid.
I have a feeling that im gonna pack a whole bunch of clothes that im not gonna wear. Oh well, always be prepared , right?? When i went to Barbados last yr for my great grandmother's funeral, one of my bags was full of shoes ALONE! haha. It was mostly kicks&flip flops&like one or two pairs of dress shoes. My aunt lifted up my bag&was wondering why it was sorta light. She opened it&was like "Wow Shana. I cant believe you have this bag filled up wit mostly sneakers. Your just like your cousin." He [my cousin] is like in luv wit kicks too. Ooo went a lil off topic there, back on now ~~>> yea, imma try not to fill a whole bag wit just kicks this time. I'll just fill it up wit a few. I think im gonna bust my lip or sumthin before i leave wit all these suitcases laying around, blocking the way. lol.
Today i finally went to the DMV to get my learners permit after yrs of procrastination. Procrastination is gonna screw me over one of these days. =/. I went to sleep at like 4 this morning, my dad woke up at like 7:30 this morning. Man, i was tired as hell. I was supposed to leave my house at 8&head down to the DMV. HA! yea right. Ended up leaving my house around 10:30, the Wendy Williams show was on. Got down there around 11. The line to take the test for the learners permit went pretty quickly. That test was soo easy! Just take those practice quizzes they got online&your good money. After that I had to go to this window&wait in line. Then found out it was a line to get a number. Wat kinda shit is that?? I had to wait in line just to get a fucking number!? Yea there was only like 2 ppl in front of me but they still bugging. Anyways, then I had to wait til they got to my number so I could take a photo, was waiting for like a good half hr or more [closer to an hr]. Estimated wait time: 25 mins. 25 mins, my ass. After I took the photo, I had to wait for my number to get called again so I could actually pay the fee&get my learners permit [the temporary one, i get the actual one in the mail.] I actually didnt have to wait to long. Finally got it&was about to leave, the clerk spelt my middle name wrong! She lucky i only took like 3 steps. It wasnt a big deal to change it tho, thank god. Yo I really didnt think I was gonna last, im very impatient most of the time. haha. I thought I woulda went thru hell&back there but it wasnt too bad. After I left the DMV, i went to Bath&Body Works, got some lotions&body splashes&shower gel to carry for my aunt in Barbados. Then to the 99cent store [which btw should be called the non-99cent store cuz theres hardly anything there that costs 99 cents anymore.], then went to get sumthing to drink [i wanted a icee but the guy wasnt there =( so i just got an iced tea.] Then i went home, didnt really feel like hanging around downtown.

Haven't been here in a couple of days, nothing special has really happened tho. Here's a lil update anyways:

July 9th
I took my lil sis to the dr's office for a physical. Seems like we were in there for hrsss but everythings good. She grew like 4 inches since last yr! &the dr said she's kinda tall for her age but not like od tall. She's probably gonna catch up to me soon. While I was at the dr's office, some number I didnt recognize called me but I couldnt pick up. When I left the dr's office, I listened to my voicemail. It was my bestieee! [i swear she changes her num like crazy lol.] "idk why the hell you got a cellphone when you never pick up *click." That actually made me LOL. I guess I made myself notorious for that one but this time I had a logical reason for why I didnt answer my phone. hehe. I called her back when I got on the bus, turns out she was by her grandma's house visiting from upstate. She had her lil sis wit her too [who by the way got sooo big]. So I just took the bus down there&we chilled outside for a lil while. Mannn, I missed them so much! Her lil sis&my lil sis were madd close, still kinda are. I hadn't seen them in like foreverrr. She stay cracking jokes, oh how i missed that! lol. Unfortunately they're back upstate now. I wish I had walked wit my camera..=/ pretty fun day.

July 10th
Didn't really do much. Just went wit my lil sis to Dunkin Donuts cuz she's a friggin feeeen! I'm hungryy!&I can't find nothing to eat. I wanna go to Dunkin Donuts. Come onnnn! Lets gooo! She stay wanting to get those breakfast sandwiches. When we got to Dunkin Donuts she didnt even get one of those sandwiches, she got a chocolate frosted donut&lipton green tea! *rolls eyes. Anyways, I got a iced coffee. I think I'm becoming addicted to them. Then we went to the supermarket to buy some things so I could do my famous tuna casserole. hehe. Got some lunch, then went back home&camerawhored just a lil bit. =D

&you kno wat, i completely forgot to do the tuna casserole! My parents came in&asked me if it was finished yet. I'm like OH SHIT! [i didnt actually say that to them lol] I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO DO IT! We had to find something else to eat.

July 11th
Today I just took my lil sis to the dr for some PPD reading. We were literally in there for like 5 mins. It woulda more been like a min or 2 if she didnt have to pee. lol. Went to Dunkin Donuts, got 2 iced teas&a donut. Yet again, she wanted a breakfast sandwich but I told her no. It was almost 2&this aint ihop. haha. I coulda called my future boo&told him I was around his block but I didnt. I guess I didnt really feel like hanging around. Then we went back home. We weren't out long at all. Now I'm hopping from facebook to myspace to FSF to overheard in New York, typing this&making tuna casserole at the same time. [I didn't forget it this time! yay me!] Yea, I'm kinda bored. I should go out later but I'm probably not goin to. Ehh, I dunno, we'll see.

So I finally got my hair didddd! lol. Maybe I'll post pics later. Other than that tho, i didn't do much but watch Baldwin Hills reruns. NEW SEASON STARTS TONIGHT AT 10! =)
I got a lil fucking burn above my top lip. It kinda burns. I put this thing on my face last night, its supposed to get rid of pimples or w/e. I woke up, went in the shower&washed it off&my face felt like it was burning a lil bit. I'm like ohh shittt! so I splashed some cold water on my face. I thought it burned my whole face but luckily it didnt. Thank god its not too noticeable but I hope it goes away soon. I will never ever use that shit again!

So I finally decided to make a blog. I dont write in diaries or journals, w/e you wanna call it, cuz I start em&never finish em. I do like writing tho. Ehh, maybe this'll be different.
